GOODBYE TESLA! The Truth about Tesla Service Centres! Quality Control? Model 3 Production Issues?

So here we are ! The final chapter of my Tesla Model 3 Nightmare! It has been a roller coaster. But this finishes everything off, is the leak fixed ? Will the fix the paint ? will they fix the bumper ? will they fix the headliner ? Does tesla have service issues? Is the service in the UK bad ? Will tesla cover all my issues under warranty ?

Tesla have given me a loaner tesla model s 2020 edition to help me get around. They took my Model 3 away on a flat bed. Was strange seeing the car get towed away.

Am i getting rid of my Tesla model 3 ?

    TESLA X UPGRADE NIGHTMARE in dealing with Joseph Dutter, Burbank Service MGR who is lacking in knowledge and professionalism. Mr. Dutter stated in his email below with the upgrade of FSDM my side cameras would work. Therefore I had FSDM installed at a cost of $8760. Side cameras are not working. I am told it’s an extra $2500. I feel Tesla should cover the cost due to the information I have in the email below from Joseph Dutter, Burbank Service MGR being one of the reasons I had this installed From: Joseph Dutter Sent: Friday, September 4, 2020 2:08 PM To: stevenjkay@gmail.com Subject: RE: Regarding Hello Steven, In order to have your side cameras display a video feed while in Reverse you needed both the latest firmware to allow that functionality and to have the Hardware 3.0 installed (comes with either the Infotainment Upgrade or Full Self Driving Upgrade). You have Hardware 2.0 (DAS HW2). Furthermore, Mr. Joseph Dutter stated Sentury Mode would not work in my car ever. Also, your vehicle is ineligible for being able to record the Sentry Mode as it was built before August 2017. www.tesla.com/blog/sentry-mode-guarding-your-tesla Unfortunately, your model number was built in March 2017. With the upgrade, Sentury Mode works as intended. If I had an employee like Mr. Dutter, is rude, argumentive, and lacks knowledge. I requested I speak with his supervisor without response who was copied on my emails. Grateful in advance if anyone has any suggestions please contact me. Thank you, Steven

    That’s pretty good service. However I am dubious and seems they went to this extreme level of great customer service purely because of your social media and youtube level of notoriety. If it had of been joe public and someone without any level of social media/SEblacks presence then it may have been a completely different story. Looking at the forums and such this theory seems to be backed up fairly accurately

    How is that “pretty good service”? Correcting a brand new leaking car? Correcting what they fucked-up in the first place? This wasn’t good service, this was adequate given how shitty this car is built.

    Glad you got it sorted. I got my car back from tesla after trying to sort a paint issues on my bonnet (that they already failed once) it is an improvement but I’m glad tesla inspected it this time and have said they aren’t happy with it. On the drive home though I noticed the steering wheel isn’t straight, Tesla said they haven’t touched anything that would affect that and said to get wheel alignment check done. Which I did today and they have said the front left is beyond adjustment and to take it to tesla to investigate, it wasn’t like that before I collected it, so that will be a fun one...

    Thanks for the video. What an awful customer experience. The ending however was a bit cringe worthy with the thanks to Tesla especially with your own experience. IMO they didn't go above and beyond, as they had failed on 2 or more previous visits and were only getting back to the level of service any customer would expect in the end Two ways of looking at it. 1. They didn't deliver initially so everything that was done should have been done without the delays. 2. The work has finally been done and to your satisfaction At the end of the day the car is fixed but you have so many wasted days going back and forth that you will never get back

    Completely agree. For me it was just a sigh of relief. I am a huge fan so was excited to have the car back. But yep, should be standard for every customer, hoping it is.

    Great news your car is sorted now mate. Tesla are no different to all the legacy manufacturers whose service centres can be poor at times. Good too see they have gone above and beyond to get you back to where you should have been from day 1.

    Great video Jordan - I am having my own problems with London Park Royal service center. They do try on the most part but they fall short. I think you’re right, it depends who you get on the day. It doesn’t help that they’re still on skeleton staff because of COVID. Happy for you though. I can’t wait to see what they gave you in the gift box.

    Ha ha. Really glad they came good in the end and got you and your whip reunited. That said, you got to ditch your lighting techy or get him to put another 50p in the meter coz the lighting was questionable at best - Loved it!

    They should have believed you the first time, why would you lie. You should not have to say thankyou, you paid for the service included in the price. Anyway, you can move on now. Let's see some model 3 content? Oh I know what's in the Tesla box, it's all your old spare parts. LOL

    Phew - desperate to know about your solar order, quick call back or vacuum of deposit nothing. Your experience was putting me off my purchase and this gives some faith, only worry is did they do this only, because of the channel - mixing it up format 👍🏻
