10 Problems Of Owning Tesla

Here are 10 main problems of owning Tesla. Tesla has many disadvantages nobody notices at first. But over time you will face multiple issues with your new Tesla car. Sadly. But instead of regretting buying the Tesla, get to know these flaws before so you know what to expect. We will show you the main mistakes of owning Tesla you should definitely know before buying Tesla. Many people hate these things about their Tesla but it’s too late for them because they already bought it. We are not saying there is everything wrong with Tesla. But these 10 issues can be critical in your decision if you buy Tesla or not. These Tesla problems really suck so get ready to know them all. For example, Tesla is not so environmentally safe as you might think. Is Tesla really better for the environment? Here comes the truth about Tesla.

Another fact is that Tesla cars don’t come with spare tires. That can be a big problem when you don’t have a spare tire and you puncture a tire accidentally.

Another problem with Tesla occurs when it’s cold outside and the door handle freeze and you can’t get into your electric car. This can be a serious problem and you have to decide carefully if you will buy your tesla even with these issues. The main problems are with model X, then model 3, and at the end with model S and Model X.

Also, the Tesla battery isn’t that environmentally friendly and its building process can pollute the air as much as normal gasoline cars.

Electric cars are great but if you choose Tesla, don’t be disappointed when you find out about these biggest problems, issues, and mistakes many people face as I do with my Tesla.

@BananaKrusher I mean, technically, it really is. If you want to build entire nations and civilisations, you're gonna have to do some polluting. And builders have historically almost always been men, therefore I guess it is safe to assume that purely by relation, polluting the planet is quite literally manly.

So if your car can't take the latest update you need to buy a whole new car? Doubt that will happen. They will just upgrade the control unit to a more powerful one. Just because ecu goes down on a gas powered car you don't just buy a new car, why would that be any different to a electric car or tesla.

Bruh, Tesla only have a battery pack and a motors to service, there’s less parts, cars while have hundreds of parts that can wear out and break, Tesla’s don’t use their breaks often because of regenerative breaking & Tesla’s are amazing on the snow as they have more grip yes it’s true that the cars have less battery due to cold weather but if you keep it in the garage and take care of the car it isn’t that bad, Tesla’s are great cars you just gotta be careful of how you use them and you plan your trips accordingly, even then you’ll enjoy the long trips more with the autopilot Most people don’t keep their cars for 8 years, after the first 8 years you become Carbon neutral and Tesla is working towards recycling and finding better alternatives to the batteries

I have never charged my car 1.5hrs. If it’s dead, I mean pulled in and have 0 on range it might take 50 min to charge fully and 40 min to 80 percent (recommended charge amount). However I have never spent more then 20min on a charge when just city driving. Some of the info in this seems like it’s written by someone reading about Tesla’s and not someone speaking from experience of owning one.

Lazy video, I am not surprised it has so many down votes including mine. Most of these problems are common with most cars. Thing is, you can do a search and find hundreds of videos from owners, and just as many problems with tesla's right here on SEblacks, without resorting to exhausted old tropes. Heres a few: Fighting the right to repair (a real issue of being eco friendly). Software locking. Issues with suspension. Monopolising. Unsafe COVID practices at the factory. Abuse to prevent a second hand market (e.g. locking out fast charging). Dangerous and lazy engineering galore, here's just a few: *The computer is powered off a separate small battery, that only charges up to the point the one that drives the wheels is full. So if parked for a few weeks it goes flat. And you have to strip the front end of the car to get at it! Because everything is electric and the emergency access release is hidden behind the bumpers. *Lack of control stalks/buttons for basic functionality, pushing everything into touch screen and a heavy reliance on sensors (there are literally hundreds of complaints of this not working). *Electric only cab heating (I know they are finally adopting heat pumps, when they already used heat pumps on the batteries). *Wheels that lock up when the battery is dead making recovery options limited. And thats off the top of my head. Bit of searching you can find a lot more.

People who likes Tesla automobiles are unusually not true automobiles enthusiasts and probably never raced a car or cannot properly judge build quality. Tesla owners want to feel unique and brag about their Tesla's features but don't realize that there is Nothing special about a Tesla. Automobile enthusiasts would buy a Lexus LS over a Tesla Model S. 😆 LOL

@Oydina-lee Banks You are the one making the claim therefore it is incumbent on you to provide the evidence to back up your argument. Which you have not done. I really don't care to look, all I or anyone else must do is use critical thinking skills and ignore your argument because you have no evidence. I could say all Toyota owners are Terrorists and tell you to look at all the videos on SEblacks of terrorists driving Toyotas, but that doesn't mean they all do and I am not offering evidence that has merit. You have to do the work or your argument falls flat. In this case you make the claim that all Teslas are Trash. I have two friends who love their cars and have had 0 unexpected issues. Therefore I proved not all Tesla's are trash. So either back up your argument with evidence or you have no argument,

  • Oydina-lee Banks

    Oydina-lee Banks

    23 dagar sedan

@Damalia Marsi I think you should actually go do some research other than what your two ''friends'' drive before commenting on things you have no idea about. Youre obviously not willing to see what other people experience and you apparently dont believe any of the negatives about teslas. The evidence is all over the internet you just have to look for it so i suggest you do

  • Damalia Marsi

    Damalia Marsi

    23 dagar sedan

@Damalia Marsi oh give it up buddy i told you youre not worth arguing with. Even Elon musk says the quality is bad how much more evidence do you need

  • Damalia Marsi

    Damalia Marsi

    23 dagar sedan

@Oydina-lee Banks You say they are junk yet provide no concrete evidence. Every product has bad batches and lemons, hence lemon law. What you are telling me is a car is junk because there are some youtube videos. I have two friends with model 3's, one with 120k miles as he drives cross country for business. He has only had 2 wiper changes, 2 tire changes and 1 cabin air filter. He has saved 12,000 on fuel costs, more now that gas prices are rising, 0 oil changes 0 maintenance and no problems. The other friend is only at 20k on his and has 0- maintenance costs so far. Not expecting to change tires until 60k miles and that will be the first cost. So if I go by their experience the cars are perfect (I know they are not). So where is your evidence? What model, what year. You are making general statements backed up by specious evidence at best. I believe you are short TSLA based on what you are saying. I have no evidence, but based on your standards that is clearly not a problem.

    26 dagar sedan

@The Review Reviewer nope. The process of recycling lithium is also very complicated and expensive. Gas cars are just more practical than electric. Solar panels can’t provide enough power to run an entire city because of their inefficiency.

  • The Review Reviewer

    The Review Reviewer

    26 dagar sedan

@Samuel It comes from solar panels... Even if it comes from fossil fuels its way less than gas cars and the one time large CO2 amount needed to make an electric car is less than the amount to make a gas car plus run it for the rest of its short life. Also lithium never goes bad and can be reused forever. Theres enough lithium for everyone to have a electric car in the entire world. When the battery goes bad you just recycle the lithium. I’m sorry, but electric cars pollute less and save the world more. Gas cars are ruining our planet way more than electric cars would and there’s nothing you can say that will change that. ‘It’s just reality’

  • Samuel

    Samuel

    26 dagar sedan

@The Review Reviewer the production of an electric car releases way more CO2 than the production of a gas car. And where does that electricity of an electric car come from? Because the majority come from fossil fuels. Gas still beats electric sorry.
